We were surprisingly busy during the depths of the pandemic making films by recording interviews via Zoom/Teams and and using mobile phones for interviews using a combination of stock footage, text and infographics to help illustrate the films.

We produced a video and guide to help interviewees improve the quality of these interviews with a few inexpensive accessories that dramatically improved the quality of video conference recordings including:

Tips on lighting for clear professional looking results.

Tips on getting better sound quality by using an inexpensive tie microphone and choosing the right environment.

Tips on positioning a laptop and yourself in the frame.

We also sent equipment in the post in advance of interviews and advised on specific set ups for the best results. This approach and the archive of stock footage from our major clients has helped produce good quality communications at a time when digital communications were more important than ever.
